Daniel is TLC Rehab’s Nominated Individual and provides independent, senior-level oversight of the service’s governance, regulatory compliance and quality assurance arrangements.
With more than 15 years of management and compliance experience across healthcare and other highly regulated sectors, Daniel has held senior operational, commercial and governance roles, including working as a CQC Registered Manager. Originally trained as a biomedical scientist, he later moved into pharmaceutical operations before developing a career specialising in healthcare regulation, service improvement and organisational compliance.
Daniel is also the Managing Partner of CQC Consultants, where he supports health and social care providers with CQC registration, governance, inspection readiness, policy development, risk management and sustainable service improvement. His experience enables him to bring both regulatory knowledge and practical operational insight to his role at TLC Rehab.
As Nominated Individual, Daniel works closely with TLC Rehab’s directors, Registered Manager and wider leadership team. He maintains oversight of the management of the regulated service, reviews performance and quality information, supports robust governance arrangements and helps ensure that regulatory responsibilities remain central to strategic and operational decision-making.
Daniel is analytical, thorough and solution-focused, with a strong belief that compliance should never be treated simply as a paperwork exercise. He is committed to helping TLC Rehab maintain a safe, compassionate and well-led service in which clients are treated with dignity, respect and understanding throughout their recovery.
